SASO HS Code Updates: Water Rationalization Tools Regulation
The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has issued a notification that the HS codes listed below will be updated and become subject to the Technical Regulation for Water Rationalization Tools, effective within 30 days from 31/07/2023:
Companies with products falling under the listed HS codes must apply through the Saber platform to meet the new technical requirements. If your product is out of scope, you can apply for a “New Out of Scope Application” exemption via the same service.
We urge all affected manufacturers, suppliers, and importers to review the circular carefully and take timely action to ensure compliance with the updated regulation.
