Critical substances potentially present in footwear and footwear components
- An announcement was made by SASO on 14th July 2021, declaring that footwears need to have conformity with ISO/TR 16178 which states that Footwear-Critical substances potentially present in footwear and footwear components.
- This standard is ample for the remnant testing of harmful substances present in footwears and its attachments which is mentioned in the Technical Regulation for Footwear and their Accessories (02-07-20-177).
