Why must you choose VERGER Group for the SASO Certificate of Conformity?

A SASO Certificate of Conformity is a mandatory conformity certificate for products imported to Saudi Arabia. VERGER Group is an ISO-17065 accredited, NABCB-assessed, and SASO-notified Certification Body authorized to issue a SASO Certificate of Conformity.

The Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organisation (SASO) have initiated The Saudi Product Quality Program, named SALEEM, to ensure the quality and safety standards of the goods imported to Saudi Arabia. This, in turn, would facilitate better trade and commerce within Saudi Arabia. Under this program, SASO has set technical regulations on different categories of products imported or manufactured within the country. When importing regulated products to Saudi Arabia, the consignment is required to be accompanied by a SASO Certificate of Conformity.

SASO has introduced the SASO Certificate of Conformity, which is a document that testifies against the technical regulations and quality standards set by SASO. This conformity certificate is reviewed at the customs before letting the import inside the country.

SASO Certificate of Conformity is an amalgamation of two essential certificates of conformity. The Product Certificate of Conformity is the certificate issued for the product imported. The Shipment Certificate of Conformity is issued for the entire shipment/consignment arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These conformity certificates are only issued if the product’s test reports and audit reports are satisfactory and the documents submitted by the importer/exporter are approved.

These conformity certificates can only be acquired by third-party SASO-notified certification bodies. These bodies must be listed on the SABER portal, where importers register their products to receive the SASO Certificate of Conformity.

Verger Group is a SASO-notified certification body, NABCB-assessed, and ISO-17065 accredited Conformity Assessment Body. We are listed on the SABER portal as a legal authority to conduct testing and factory audits and to issue a SASO Certificate of Conformity for products imported to Saudi Arabia.
